Here is another sample of the Skins Results. This is ONLY a sample from today's round and no money is owed or due to anyone!
Gross Skins: Is just that, no strokes and is naturally won by lowest strokes on a hole with NO ties!
Net Skins: Is based on the players handicap and the hole handicap.
A stroke is given if either one or both of these conditions apply. There will be no adjustment, 1 stroke given or 2 strokes given. Max 2 strokes per hole. No ties!
1. If the "hole handicap" is <= "player handicap" then subtract 1 stroke. Otherwise, do nothing.
2. If the "hole handicap +18" <= "player handicap" then subtract 1 stroke. Otherwise, do nothing.
For "White Tees" I have deducted one stroke for each player since Hole #9 is a Par 4 for "Gold Tees".
I've spent many hours on this skins database and if anyone has any feedback, questions or concerns please let me know. This would be a side contest to regular league play and uses your "League Handicap" based on your Quota for NET Skins.
I see the NET skins being the contest to get more players involved which results in a higher pot thus, more money per skin. A Gross skins contest would only appeal to the lower handicappers since they would win the majority of the skins. Just my 2 cents! I'm posting these samples of real play just so everyone can see how they "could" win in either contest.
