1. First, I encourage you to check out the BAY PALMS APP. You can find it on the app store and download it. In the current newsletter it lists the PROBABLE instructions on how Bay Palms will run their end of it, which is payments and cart assignments. An official date is not listed there as yet. I am hearing from this Friday to next Wednesday, so keep your ears open. ((JUST GOT WORD THAT THIS SATURDAY, MAY 16 THEY WILL BE OPEN.)) I WILL NEED NAMES IN ORDER TO GIVE TO THEM BY TOMORROW ((FRIDAY)) AT NOON SO THEY CAN START ASSIGNING CARTS OR AT LEAST KNOW HOW MANY THE MEN'S ASSN WILL NEED. SO SINCE WE ARE STARTING UP AGAIN ON A SATURDAY, SATURDAY AND TUESDAY WILL BE OUR INITIAL START DAYS. SO IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THIS SATURDAY, GET YOUR NAME TO ME. RESPOND TO EMAIL IS PREFERRED, BUT IF U CANNOT, CALL ME AT HOME 813 837 8299.  2. As with other groups, we will also have some changes.      a. I will then ask for names that want to play. As of right now, there will be NO WALK IN, i.e. just showing up. I will put out an email for a day, if you want to play, you respond to it and go on the list. Main reason, the course has only 78 carts. That is basically only 20 foursomes (i.e. one person per cart). And we will not be the only group wanting to play.      b. I will put out the foursomes list the day before the round and will send it in to the pro shop. They in turn, as with their newsletter, will assign a cart when you have advised them you are there and pay at the STARTER SHACK. As of right now, they have not advised me that we will be limited to a certain number of players, however, you will need to be on the list I send in the day before.      d. When you arrive at the course and have paid at the starter shack, then find me nearby and pay your $15 to me. Please have exact change, I do not want to handle the money till I get home, wash, dry and sterilize it.        e. After the round, pick someone in the group, usually two people, to keep the scores that you can compare. Then someone gives me a scorecard. Please make them legible. I will then take the cards and money home, figure out the teams, and place the money in envelopes. Since I have a ton of change (coins) at home, I will try to break it down further than rounding it off.      f. I will post the after play results on the website that Andy Clark put together. You can check that to see if you win. If you believe I need to, I can also send out an email with the results.  If all this works out and it is not too much of a hassle, I will add Thursday or Sunday into the rotation, then maybe eventually, we can get back to our normal four days. By the way, as stipulated in the bylaws, I will be taking my cart fee out of the money if we have more than 10 players. I will also have to buy a box of cheap envelopes!!  SO FOR SATURDAY MAY 16 , PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR NAMES ASAP TO ME. TIME IS AT 0800. Denny
