I went out to Bay Palms this afternoon and Terry gave me a tour. Overall the South Course fared well in the storm however, there are trees down on both courses that need to be cleaned up. Mostly to get the cart paths cleared if they can't get the whole tree removed.
Dave and Bill were out on the course and have already cleaned up quite a bit of small debris. Dave also had a contractor there that he was giving a tour that would do most of the large debris cleanup work. I volunteered to help today for a couple of hours but they are mostly surveying the rest of it and will start on serious cleanup on Saturday morning. Dave said that if anybody wanted to volunteer they are getting started at 0700 Saturday morning. I plan on helping and encourage any of our members to help also. If you are willing then please let us know so we can let Dave know, and he can plan accordingly.
